Dr Julie Bhosale Sugar and Sleep Workshop – Auckland
November 10, 2016 @ 7:30 pm - 9:30 pm
Dr. Julie Bhosale is an internationally-renowned family wellbeing and nutrition expert, author and speaker who is changing the conversation on the realities of “life after birth”. She believes that women who understand the science behind the changes to their bodies during pregnancy, birth and the post-partum period, are better equipped to cope with the challenges of early motherhood. She is open about her struggles after giving birth, and in 2015 her blog My Real Postpartum Body made headlines around the world and united a global community of mothers.
Dr Julie is passionate about good nutrition and helping families establishing lifelong healthy habits that work for busy modern lifestyles – a mum of two preschoolers herself, she has published her first cookbook this year titled “Healthy Easy Dinners for Busy Mums”
Her next workshop “Sugar & Sleep” sponsored by Merino Kids NZ is a must!
Dr. Julie will shine the spotlight on sugar including different types of sugar, answer the question to just how bad is sugar and give healthy, simple alternatives.
She will explain the science behind the hormone changes that happen with sleep loss – which of course is a very common challenge during pregnancy and life with a new baby and often well into the toddler years. Dr. Julie will also explain how these hormone changes affect your weight loss after baby arrives and just how to kick start this. She will also share with you practical strategies to help mediate these changes both through food, and suggest ways to get more sleep including cooking demos and taste testing and top of the line sleep products.
Come along for a wonderful evening include a glass of bubbles, healthy delicious raw treats, receive a workbook and a goody bag (with over $100 worth of wellness products) and have the chance to ask Dr Julie questions one-on-one!
This workshop is limited to 15 people only and always sells out very fast – don’t miss out!!
Arrive at 7pm for a 7.30pm start (more time to relax and be with Dr Julie) at Raw HQ Cafe, Howick, Auckland
